This action is permanent and irreversible. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please export any content you wish to keep before submitting a request.
What gets deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we permanently remove:
- Your account information — name, email address, phone number
- All posts, drafts, and scheduled content you created
- Connected social media account tokens and permissions
- Your post history and analytics data
- App preferences, settings, and notification history
- Subscription records (after any required legal retention period)
How to request deletion
Delete from the app (fastest)
Open ilovposting → Settings → Account → Delete Account → Confirm. Your data deletion begins immediately.
Email us directly
Send an email to privacy@ilovposting.com with the subject "Delete My Account". Include the email or phone number linked to your account.
Use the button below
Click the button at the bottom of this page to open a pre-filled email to our privacy team.
What happens next
Request received (Day 0)
We acknowledge your request by email within 24 hours.
Identity verified (Day 1–3)
We verify the request came from the account owner to protect against unauthorised deletions.
Data deleted (within 30 days)
All account and content data is permanently removed from our active systems.
Backups purged (within 90 days)
Any remaining backup copies are purged from all storage systems.
Confirmation email sent
We send a final confirmation once deletion is complete.
Partial deletion
You don't have to delete your entire account to remove specific data. You can:
- Delete individual posts from the Schedule or Home screen in the app
- Disconnect specific social accounts from Settings → Connected Accounts
- Clear your draft history from the Create tab
